I'm so happy with the result. Bracelet sure doesn't feel like modern bracelets and I hope it's sturdy enough. What do you guys think? IMG_8412.JPG IMG_8416.JPG

Was it restored at michael y.'s Workshop? I agree with the others that flat link bracelets are the coolest.

Flat Link FTW! I love the feeling, despite its a bit flimsy. That shocked me in the beginning, but now I am used to it :D The look is ubercool!

Do you wear it regularly and are you worried about it being so flimsy?

I wear it regulary and I am not worried anymore. I realized that I can't compare those old braceletes to modern ones, or ones from the 70's. So, everything is good and I enjoy my 1039.

In the U.K. I had my 1035 restored by STS when they serviced my Speedy. They did a wonderful job.
As for wearing, it's very comfortable, although it does not get worn every day now.

Looking good. Do you by any chance have the before-&-after photos? To me the flat-links best represent the vintage look of the Speedmaster.

Looks absolutely stunning. Do you feel any kind of torsion (if that is the correct word) in the spring links, I mean do they feel nice and tight. I fitted my 7912 to my 105.003 for the first time at the weekend and agree that compared to modern day bracelets they are very light and almost flimsy, but I have to agree that they look superb in photos.

Mine is a full length bracelet with the 10 spring links and 16 fixed links and if anything is a little on the loose side, but I don't want to remove any links.

    Enjoy it, it looks superb.

Very nice! Thanks for the pics. The spring links are quite right. Not loose at all. It's very comfortable to wear. Quite happy.
