Does anyone have an opinion on this bracelet listed on EBay (which closes tomorrow)?
I have my vintage Seamaster 300 finally ready for a band that looks like the original that it had when I purchased it in 1966.

 

That is a bracelet from 2006...not 1966. That is modern bracelet and nothing like the 1039 that would have come on that watch. If you search the forum, there is lots of discussion on SM300 bracelets.

 

I would not suggest pairing your watch with the modern bracelet in the link.

I wear mine on a vintage 1171/633.

 

I wear mine with the 1171/633 same as Giff2577. Really comfortable and looks good.

 

Correct bracelet is 1506/16, 1039/516 came later than 1966.
1171/633 is perfect if you want to wear it everyday

 

Or a 1175, which has flatter links than a 1171 and so looks more 'vintage'.

 

It's still possible to find 1175 for around $100, but not for long.. if we talk about it too much

 

1039/516 also looks good on an SM300.
