Can anyone recommend a bracelet -I have 424.23.40.21.02.001

and apparently there is no red gold/steel bracelet. If there was I know the price would probably kill me anyway. Does anyone know if there are any good steel choices from omega that would work?

Perhaps you could take a look at the straight end link variant of the De Ville Hour Vision bracelet? Style wise i think it could work, the gold Omega logo on the clasp would also fit well with the gold of your watch. The watch it originally came on is both bigger (41mm) and thicker, so I’m not sure how balanced this bracelet would look on your thinner reference. Whats also worth considering is the clearance between the end links and the watch case, I don’t know how different the lug hole position/ lengths are between both models. Could be worth looking into if you like the look of it!

It appears the non-power-indicator version of the same watch came with a bracelet: https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/...e-co-axial-chronometer-39-5-mm-42420402013001

See ref # 424.20.40.20.13.001 which according to that listing, looks to be red gold?

It looks like it might be the same case, AND is available in the 2 tone you want.

Perhaps someone here (@Archer?) could look up to see what the bracelet codes are for that model, else your AD/OB should be able to order a new one for you.

Thanks so much for making the effort both. Funnily enough we are on the same page with the hour vision bracelet surface design but the thickness means it would look odd. Omega online say there is no option that works with this watch.

I have been buying and enjoying ‘aftermarket' bracelets (from China?) which work on my similarly cased Omega and Longines.

Obviously it would be nicer if they were genuine but, as with any strap, I get what I can afford and like.

There's a two-tone steel and red gold bracelet off the De Ville 39.5mm non-power reserve, can't be certain it's a direct fit but given they're both 39.5mm and of the same generation, it might fit, or possibly would fit with some modification by a watchmaker.

Curious where you see that information? I'm not aware of them publishing lug hole locations anywhere.

my bad - according to omega and re reading they checked with “their uk service centre” - prob Southampton- and a slight difference in the case lug design means the bracelet wont fit .
