Hi All, My 105.002 is presently fitted with a 1125 bracelet with 617 endlinks. I am thinking of 'upgrading' it to a folded/expanding links Omega bracelet. A 7912 bracelet with No. 6 endlinks would be ideal, but as you know, a good one is increasingly hard to find. From the internet, it appears that my alternatives are a 7077 bracelet or a 1035? Other than No. 6 endlinks, any other options? TIA! Chye
7912 is the typical bracelet found on a 105.002, other than #6 end links you can use modified 617s to fit the 7912. 7077 is rarer than the 7912, and 1035 is very different, it features the modern style Omega symbol on the clasp, not the vintage style and isn't well suited as a result.
Okay, but lacking any other suitable alternative, wouldn't the 1035 be one of the lesser offensive choices?
Hard to say... its not sufficiently cheaper than the 7912 to make much of difference but the totally different era clasp logo looks very wrong
For link hounds: http://issuu.com/mstanga/docs/tab_bracciali_omega_ultima.xls Agree with others, 7912 is really the only choice and not that much harder to find or more expensive than a 1035. #6's on the other hand, well, a pair just sold for almost $1600 USD... And of course, leather is a good option in the meanwhile.
