Does anyone know if the newer 2Omm bracelet from the 8500 planet ocean will fit the earlier 2500 model? (42mm)
I can't think why not , but thought I'd check before going shopping.

 

This usually does not work, unfortunately, because the cases of each watch are not the same. They'll often have different hole locations for the spring bar attachment point, for example. So it really becomes an exercise in trial and error for specific non-standard case and bracelet pairings. Perhaps someone on this board has tried?

I have doubts it will work. The 2500 models are less deep than the 8500s so the later end pieces may be too fat to work properly on a 2500. Omega will supply you a 2500 model (such as 2201.50) bracelet so why not get the right one rather than bodging it
