    Hi, first time posting here.

I have been to a couple of watchmakers in order to adjust this strap and they have both said it can only be adjusted by using the holes in the buckle (I am in Japan so there was a bit of a language barrier).

Does anyone know if links can be removed? If so how?

    Its reference is 166.0216

    Thanks

Looks like those pins could be punched out and then replaced after links were removed. Looks like someone has already done this on one of them (or tried to). That said, I wouldn't attempt this on someone else's bracelet, only on one I owned.

It can be taken narrower fairly easy on the clasp. I wouldn’t go more then 3 more in but you could go further if needed.

wsfarrell - That's what I originally thought, the watchmaker said he wouldn't do it because there was no arrow indicating which direction they should be removed.

Foo2rama - Reducing the length using the clasp is likely to leave marks on the strap, as it is only gold plated ,where the clasp overlaps the strap. Additionally this only takes it down to about 7 inches (which would be ok for my wrist) but I assume there must be another way for people with smaller wrists.
