Bought my first Speedmaster yesterday.

Went out to Manchester UK yesterday just to look at the huge selection of watch establishments, 2 trains and just over an hour. Came home with a mini suitcase that housed one of my dream watches the Speedmaster moonwatch. Still got that big smile on my face
Over the moon at the moment.

Have had mine going on 6 months now and I'm still in the "honeymoon phase".
However no interest in picking up another contrary to what a lot of people say....

I've got a vintage Seamaster from 1961 that's away for service and I'm constantly looking at watches so....

Taking a bit of getting used to, it's heavier than any watch I've worn previous

It’s so much lighter when on a leather/deployment strap, I rarely wear the bracelet so when I do I notice that extra weight. Enjoy!

Lol my 145.022-76 on strap feels positively featherweight vs my Planet Ocean on bracelet, or even my SKX on leather.

Grats on the purchase.

Count yourself lucky that you are 2 trains away from the shops, at least that should help deter the addiction (for a while at least) 😉

To easy to look online though must say if you're spending that much on a watch though it's important to try it on first.
