    hi everyone.

hope this is the right place to ask. i am completely new to omega vintages.

bought the omega in combination with a longines for a total of 500 EUR or approx 625 USD.

crown is not original. can't open the watch, but might stop by the watchmaker today.

    thanks for your help!

p.s.: in can still reverse the deal if the watch is not authentic.

thanks for the reply. much appreciated! do you think I massively overpaid? Don't want a bargain, just a reasonable price (also the seller, who inherited it). another guy suggested that it is only worth around 200-250 USD...

I read quite a lot of articles on http://omega-constellation-collectors.blogspot.com , but it is still hard to estimate a fair price...

Case looks like its had a very hard life. Movement and caseback shots would be nice. Since you are dropping by a watchmaker, maybe you can have pictures taken.

I think a bezel could be sourced from ebay.

I think it will take along time to find a bezel. That movement desperately needs a service. Either way, its a project/rescue....

I've got one of those! A real nice time pice that will keep amazing time when serviced. Get a new crystal popped in when you have the service and crown replaced. Mine is gold capped but I wouldn't mind the stainless version to keep it company.

Oh and show us the Longines as well that way we can see if it was a good deal for both.
