    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could point me towards some decent pawnshops in the Boston area?

I live in Boston... there is nothing that is reputable out here. Question, are you looking to purchase or offload a timepiece?

I'm also local to Boston and I'm pretty sure there's nothing here worth your time.

Does Europe watch Co have a storefront? Are they local to Boston? Obv not a place to buy but may be interesting place to browse.

European watch has a storefront on Newbury street--definitely not pawn shop prices.

Thinking if looking for preowned time pieces, it may make sense to go to Downtown Crossing and look at the places like EB Horn or the few other jewelers there that carries some timepieces.... they negotiate prices.... never bought a timepiece there, but my wife has bought jewlery there and they were willing to negotiate prices. Man, we should really have some type of get together for us Boston OF members to meet and talk timepieces.....

Here are my latest two purchases from pawnshops. This past month I got extremely lucky. They were $60 EACH! If you do not go in you will never find the bargains. Sold the TAG because its awful. Breitling will go when I find something else that interests me more. 8D2B8F21-95EC-4CC3-AE4E-3F646DB043DC.jpeg C145D6C5-952F-4782-95F0-E4C64ED3982D.jpeg

The Breitling is an amazing pick up for $60.

    Thanks for all the replies.
I live in the Boston suburbs and was just wondering if anyone had a good one. Unfortunately I had not come across any worthwhile shops to browse and pick up a bargain or two.

Moved to Boston over the summer. Been to EWC a few times. Got lucky and scored the one piece I've ever seen them 'mis-price' in the buyers favor. No clue about the pawn shops.

Would be good to meet other OF members in the area if anyone's around over the winter holidays wants to do a GTG.

EWC is amazing, but just a notch above pawn shops. :D
