hey folks. Loving my carrera reissue at the moment. Looking to get a BoR bracelet for her. 18mm is her lug width....wondering can anyone point me or where to buy one? I found one on the bay, https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com.sg/ulk/itm/302629072518 Is 80 usd a good price? How much am I expect to pay as such? Thanks!
Anybody who sells a cheap made in china bracelet for $225 is suspect in my book. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Heavy-Stai...size-wrists-/131835517748?hash=item1eb2025b34Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network OR https://www.ebay.com/itm/Stainless-...hash=item4416a576e3:m:m1WNubUIDoXznnokm9RRKtQPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Of course I could be wrong. I am sure with a little more research I could find the exact bracelet.
OP - the link you posted is a BOR with end links that fit vintage Heuers. They may or may not fit the reissue Carrera well. But whatever you buy, prepare for some play and chinking. $80 isn't extortionate if the quality of the metal and finishing is good. From what I can see from the pictures, it looks OK, nothing special but would surely pass muster and probably is better than what you might have got back in the day.
The vintage Carrera and the reissue are the same case size, so it should be just fine. I've worn an Omega 1503/1 BoR bracelet on my Carrera reissue and it was quite nice, though I prefer it on a strap. Squinky stuff is supposedly good quality but it's expensive enough to be beyond the "take a punt" level. Truly cheap BoR bracelets on Ebay are best avoided, too - I bought a £10 one for a cheapo watch and it was garbage.
