I have for sale a brand new Dark Side of the Moon purchased today (Jan 23rd). It is a complete set with box, papers, and all accessories. Warranty card is valid and active from a US Authorized Dealer. I'm selling because I ended up buying a different watch that I liked more while waiting for this one to come in, and now I have to fund it!

This watch is still available for sale!

My price is $9,950 with payment by bank wire only (Paypal may be an option for a buyer with very strong references, but it will have to be two payments and buyer pays fees). Serious buyers only; please have references available.

Shipping is included anywhere in CONUS.

I have sold a Speedy Pro here on Omega Forums and several Omegas and other watches over on Watchuseek, and I have positive feedback on both forums. I also helped organize the WUS Omega Forum Philadelphia GTG last November and the March GTG this year where I met many fellow WIS in person (there are photos of me in the sticky in WUS /f20).

With all the hype and demand around this watch and Boutiques and ADs selling every one they get in (and some they haven't even gotten yet, in the case of one AD near me) I figured it'd be easy to move this one. I wonder if you guys are onto something with the numbers. 😜 If it doesn't sell in the next 48 hours I'll take it out again, change the time/date, and take new photos. 😜

I've seen this phenomenon occasionally. I have had watches that EVERYBODY wanted. But when it came to sell, nobody wanted it. Strange.

It's really strange. I've never had a single watch I've tried to sell take this long, and I've sold two Seamaster electric blues, a Speedy Pro 3570.50, a Movado SE, a Citizen, and two Sea-Gulls...hell even my Montblanc Starwalker sold faster than this. None of the aforementioned took more than a week. Right now, I'm practically giving away an Air-King and no one's interested, and I'm offering a discount on one of the hottest watches on the market that people are on waiting lists to pay MSRP for and I haven't gotten a single message since two tire-kickers the day I posted it.

I guess the most ridiculous part about it is that no one's even making offers or asking me about it. My listing doesn't say "don't make an offer," and while I wouldn't sell it at too big a discount, normally I'd have gotten several lowballs at least by now. I did get one trade request, though, even though I explicitly said no trades. 😜

I wonder if "bank wire only" is scaring people off? Everyone who has ever bought a watch from me has used Paypal. The transaction limit is $10k though, and I'm concerned about scams.
