You need a reason? To me it’s one of the coolest useless complications out there.

May be not a complication but I find a tachymeter as the most useless feature on a watch

 

I have seen a few with double tachys ... now that must be the epitome of uselessness. ..

I don't have a moonphase, but I did get a great view of the eclipse. The young one enjoyed it, and the trip over the snowy, snowy pass in order to get to a place with less cloud cover than home.
