The third Monday in January is known by some as the "saddest" day of the year. Which watch of your collection will you wear in an effort to ward off the "blues"? I am just in the process of trying to decide which one to wear! Sometime over the next 12 hours I'll decide what I will wear.
blue is one color missing in my watch box, but wish listed must wait for next year's saddest day to commemorate..
Well, I have a few choices: Tudor Sub Seiko 6139 chrono 1970s Seiko DX Or this Seiko LE Blue Monster... Decisions, decisions!? I also may wear this, which makes me very happy, to ward off the "blues":
I would have liked to start the year with a Sinn 103 A SA B, that blue dialed chrono really floats my boat. Still searching for one, and hopefuly it will be there at the start of 2017. Alas, until then this one will have to do for the blue dial criteria
I have only one with a blue dial. It WON'T be that one that I wear. Having a watch with blue on it was not a prerequisite for an answer to the question of what you might choose to wear on blue Monday! Any watch! Whatever one you might find adding a lift for your day and a bounce to your step.
Dude...I can relate...I don't have a blue watch either. What I do have is a blue Longines watch carrier compliments of the local Longines AD who I went through to get my 20 year old Hour Angle chronograph replica serviced last summer. I'll be happy with the blue Longines watch carrier.
I've had my share of blue watches over the time, almost exclusively Omegas... These are the ones I currently own: Omega Hour Vision Orbis Seamaster early quartz - bought almost for nothing as non-working and restored (trust me, it's blue, warm led lightning is not helping much ): And Seiko 7T92-0FD0 - this one will never leave my hands, bought from my first scholarship during University (same lightning issue ) And also flipped a bunch to fund new acquisitions; I regret the Co-Axial the most, then the blue-bezeled chronograph... : Seamaster 2541.80 quartz Bond - now sold... Omega Seamaster Co-Axial Bond, also on blue strap - also sold... Also had two Bond Chronos, sold both... And the one with the silver bezel
The Ploprof 600 is out for service. So I will need to sleep on it, but it will be one of the two Omega watches.
