“Blooming” on 2533.50 America’s Cup 18 K Gold bezel?

I’ve come across a pretty clean specimen of this watch for a great price but the bezel is showing a faint gold hue. This solid 18 K Gold bezel is still “matt-finished” so it doesn’t appear it was discolored by polishing. Any input; can this be restored to it’s original color?
