Is this Seamaster (70's) likely to be a Omega? Would someone even have some info on it? All I know is in this pic.
    To me it looks sensible.

It's authentic, but not from the 1970's. Probably mid-80's to early-90's.

The Omega 1110 is not really an in-house Ω caliber either. It's a rebadged ETA 2892-2.

You will be able to corner the market on these as very few have them and even fewer would collect them.

A cheap way to start into automatic Omegas ( make not of the cheap )

The attached link shows a caliber 1110 Omega movement from the Ranfft archive. The listing seems to cast doubt on your comment about the watch being from the 1970s. The model of watch is not one I am familiar with, so I wouldn’t be positive as to whether it is all kosher or not. But it looks real enough to me. With this movement, and probably being from the 1980s, not the 1970s, I suspect this is a Swatch Omega. Can you give us a picture of the information inside the case back?

I have also include a link to the Ranfft archive that shows an ETA 2892 movement which I suspect is the base movement for the Omega 1110.

As a matter of fact, NO, I didn’t see that post since it was posted while I was composing my post. Are you under the impression that I HAD read your post, and that PERHAPS I was calling you wrong? Your reply was uncustomarly testy given the circumstances. Chill out!

    "testy"

A perfectly cromulent word. Especially in the context of rebutting comments from the Order Rodentia - Sciurus carolinensis.

I remember my Mum warning us on a Sunday morning, "Dad's a bit testy today".

Which was funny, because that was exactly the day you didn't test Dad.

We figured it out as we got older.

    And had our first hangovers.

I must have missed how this pertains to the thread. Now, if I were giving wrong answers constantly, and finally got one right, this would be a spot on comment. I guess my typing monkeys are valuable.

I forgot you are the relevance king lol, Just a throw away comment, no offence intended. Rather like many of yours I would imagine. There wasn't anything apposite for squirrels with typewriters so went with another animal.

I'm not offended at all. Anyone can bust my stones at any time! I just didn't get how it pertained to this particular instance.

    Oh well, moving on.....

    Wow.
    Fast 'n Furious.
I am overwhelmed of the competence and willingness and speed of your support.
    Thank you.
As a gift it will certainly do.
My wife likes squared watches of not so small girly sizes.
    Thanks to all shpporters here.
