Here’s a dial and handset that came straight out of the Bundeswehr so it’s a good reference to check against. Do you have movements shots ? The movement should have a specific reference and the rotor is uniquely marked. Something looks funny with the bars, are they original ?

I’m not sure about the bars having looked at a photo of my case. I thought they were too deeply recessed on yours but one of mine looks similar. Maybe worth a look without the strap on...

I'm no expert - this could be due to low resolution photos or crystal distortion, but the text on the OP watch doesn't look nearly as clean or precise.

I'm not a real expert on these but basically it looks good. The serial number on the case is four digits which is correct (as opposed to five digit SNs which are on normal Squale midcases). I think the dial and hands are correct too, and probably the bezel but I don't actuall have one to judge against. Caseback looks good and the Von Buren signed crown is original. So the movement is the last check. I wouldn't pay 10k without seeing the movement, but assuming it's correct then 10k USD isn't too bad (although it's not cheap)

    Is this Olivier's watch?

He is a very trustworthy seller, and has killer pieces.

I was messaging with him about it, as I have always loved this piece.

Actually... what’s going on with the dial under the hands (where the hole is) ?

It looks like either a) there’s a load of paint loss, or b) the hole’s too big.

I’d want much better photos of that area...

Try posting the watch on the military watch resource. They have several threads devoted to these watches.
