FF will never be 40mm. Unfortunately they’re taking notes from Breitling

The Barakuda was pretty nice at 40mm. At 14k it wasn’t a bargain but they only made 500 pieces

Knowing their current design sensibilities, it will probably be some brick of a watch that normal people can't wear.

^ but the hammerhead sharks. Arent they important?

Unless they stop Shark Fin Soup no one is Conserving any type of shark...... But lasers and sharks is one hell of a story 📖 to sell a $15k watch. 👍

The Mokarran Protection Society, which consists mostly of volunteers, has been working with a noninvasive technique called laser photogrammetry, basically a panel with two parallel lasers and a digital camera, that allowed them to project laser markings to measure, reliably identify and track individual sharks over time. This in return will now lay the groundwork to improve activities linked to the conservation of the species.

43.6mm. Absolute shame - with such a blank dial and slim bezel, this thing is gonna wear enormous. Hope you like green dinner plates 🙄

At least the sharks got rid of the date window.

Damn, that’s ugly.
The problem with BP is that their secondary market is worst in the biz.
Except for A few limited edition like the Barakuda, and MilSpec. You can find most of their offerings for +50% off.

I have yet to see a BP in the wild. Any BP.
Any forum member owns a sport BP?

Here’s mine. A BP, but not a sport. Couldn’t care less about secondary value of any watch I buy.

Leman was the last good sports line Blancpain made. Here's mine.

I think Blancpain is slowly dying...

That is one watch I truly regret selling!
I had a client trade one in and before it arrived another client had contacted me looking for one.
I made the mistake of telling him I had one coming but I was thinking of wearing it and keeping it. I think he knew I would love it and talked me into selling it to him before it arrived (I already knew condition etc). I wore it for a day when it arrived (as I explained I was going to) well I loved it, tried to buy it back even offering him a cash profit and extra discount on his next purchase but he wanted the watch 🙁 I have first right to buy if he sells BUT he's already warned me his 16 year old honors student son has requested it for graduation.... The only watch his kids asked for according to him so I think I am SOL.
I LOVE this Green LE but I will never own one as they will command a premium with only 50 being made. I think it would have been better at 40 or 42 mm BUT I love green and would proudly wear that as is.
