Hi, I’ve been offered to purchase this black dial Seamaster, allegedly from 1968. I know I should be careful with the black dials and also don’t recognize the Seamaster logo / font. From those pictures it looks fine. I'd be much more concerned about the very worn gold plating. Look how the base metal is peeking through on the lugs

 

Looks authentic but I second my colleagues concerns about the condition of the plating

Do you have photos of the movement? That caseback seems flat. Almost too flat to house an automatic.
