    Hi, I’ve been offered to purchase this black dial Seamaster, allegedly from 1968. I know I should be careful with the black dials and also don’t recognize the Seamaster logo / font.     From those pictures it looks fine. I'd be much more concerned about the very worn gold plating. Look how the base metal is peeking through on the lugs :(

    Looks authentic but I second my colleagues concerns about the condition of the plating

    Do you have photos of the movement? That caseback seems flat. Almost too flat to house an automatic.
