    Friend of my showed me this, and knowing next to nothing about made-in-germany stainless steel bracelets and Movado movements, i was wondering if anyone can lend me their opinions?

    Very interesting logo. Says made in Germany.

    Very bizarre way of clipping and locking this bracelet

    Attached at the bottom is also a picture of the movado movement.

    Any clues?

    It seems that the kind folks at WUS have pointed out this is a cal 260 movement and a Glauner & Epp (absolutely undiscussed on google) mesh bracelet.

    Mikrolisk lists Glauner & Epp as a bracelet manufacturer in Pforzheim, Germany.
    A sampling of their products from 1960:

    Why?
    My mother has some golden bracelets, locking the same way.
    'Through the opening, fold back en lock'

    Looks rather OK to me....
    But that might be me....::screwloose::

    Well....

    Found it.
    It is what's being called a 'fold over clasp'.

    So like this
