Occasionally see requests for what could be a birth year watch.
I'll kick off with mine and if others would like to join in it may just help some in their quest. (Don't think this has been done before ?)

I was born the year NASA made it to the moon. A 1969 321 caliber is high on my list.
Will have to dig something out of the box for this thread:thumbsup: :)

This is mine 1960 which is one of the primary reasons that I needed to have this one no matter what.

I thought Omega stopped using the 321 in 1968?

it is claimed they did supply a few also in 1969. My 105.003 is confirmed with production date January 68. Much later than I was expecting finding a 003.
    Time will tell!;)

    Me too.

I have a lot (some say too many) watches, but not one that I can trace to 1961 except for this ladies 14K Omega I purchased for my mother some years back:

E, are you serious - no 1961 men's watches in your box? Dude, we gotta do something about that!

I have 4 myself - 2 Longines, a Piaget, and the Eterna Centenaire. You need at least one!

Closest that I can document is my Polerouter Date, which is 1959-60 based on the dating charts. The Memovox may be a 1961, as Lecoultre made the same model under various names from about 1960 to 1964 or so. The back is on very tight and it runs so well that I haven't bothered to have it opened so I don't know the serial number.

The Gruen Airflight might also be from 1961 as I think they were made that year, but there are no serial numbers at all.

P.S. - My Centenaire is from 1966, at least that is the date on the engraving:

1947 was a big year for my parents. I found a "1947" Omega some years ago so this is my birthyear watch.

Last year in Paris we were rushing to get changed to go to dinner at Le 58 Tour Eiffel and as I was struggling to get my trousers on the belt buckle smashed the crystal. I was a bit cross about that ::rant:

Here's my 1969 Seamaster cal. 750. Used to have the 751 chronometer variant as well. It would take A LOT for me to ever part with this:
