Have joined the Omega family after buying a 1961 Onega Seamaster De Ville.
I love it's simplicity and beauty.
Now I need to find a matching buckle!

Beautiful Seamaster - congrats! Great choice for a birth year Omega.

Getting hold of genuine, vintage buckles can be a bit tricky. Make sure you check out the sticky thread on buckles in this Vintage forum. You need to buy the seller and expect to pay highly.

Getting hold of fake, poor quality and incongruous buckles is, sadly, extremely easy. They are all over eBay, Etsy and Amazon, for example. So, if you want an appropriate buckle, and for a birth year watch, I totally understand that, do your homework and strap in for the hunt.

I’ve got a couple of vintage buckles that I acquired recently via the forum, so do check out the listings in the Accessories sales. But, honestly, most of mine have generic buckles and I am at peace with that. And also with the fact that I’ll almost certainly never find an appropriate vintage buckle for my 1955 UG Polerouter. But that’s another story.
