I feel there might be some of you who enjoy fishing as much as I do. Here is my biggest catch on my Kayak.

Yes it is. One of the most fun fish to catch from Kayak. The dance it does is amazing, however the flying hook is not as fun;)
I caught a shark before (1.5m) Fortunatelly over the years I never turn over on the deep blue. If I was I would have the "Jaws" song in my head LOL

I once went fishing off the coast of Lofoten in northern Norway. The engine stopped and we were only stopped from drifting off to Canada by the huge rock that our little boat kept banging into......Ok we probably would have been saved or drowned before we got to Canada but it sounds more dramatic. We did catch some cod before our boat was towed back to harbour.

Don’t you need to be 20-30 miles offshore for those? Where do you catch it? They are so lovely to look at and grill!

Not in Hawaii, we are fortunate here. 1 mile out and you go to 300 feet deep.

I tricked you;) The crazies thing was when a whale show up 50 yards ahead of me and decide to swim right up me with my lines in the water. I did not want to test who is going to win.
I like to eat Cod. Such a great fish. Its scary how small we are on the ocean. Glad you got a huge rock waiting for you

Oahu, the best place to fish is Big Island. You go out 300 yards and it gets deep fast...like really fast. 300feet +

Been to the big island (best snorkeling) ...yea the drop off is spectacular. Also been to Kuai. This is a strong argument for a retirement condo!

From a yak: a decent sized Banjo Shark, caught on 6 pound line... Caught half an hour after launch, about 3kms from the shoreline (about half and hour after Id been up on the cliffs and saw a great white burst through a bait school and become completely airborne) Was hard to quell the Jaws theme that day. Plus a nice sized drummer, amazing fight in that one...
