Hi OF,
auction houses usually don't have any exciting Speedys during the summer months ( here in Europe ),
so why not share a fun and interesting thing??

Some of you might not know this, but we have bluefin tuna here in Sweden!!

We are not allowed to catch them, but we ca go out with our boats and have a look at them!

Amazing creatures, we are talking sizes over 200 kg, and there are a lots of them right now!!

Not my picture of the fish, but it is my watch!!

Have a lovely Friday!

I caught a tuna when deep sea fishing in Hawaii as a kid- it took me forever to get it in. But I remember how big it was, and how delicious.

Nice!

I have had the opportunity to go after tuna, and when they bite - they are beasts!

This is crazy, only a few minutes away?! We have to go 40-50 miles out to at least think about catching something like this (and if it's a tuna it's the smaller yellowfin which are still delicious and fun to catch). Bluefin are mythical to me in that sense though -- it's as if you have caught a 2915 Speedmaster (and probably not too far off in value to some).

You could buy a pretty nice Speedmaster with that fish.

I don't want to rub in your face mate, but the attached picture (not my picture...) shows the inlet to our harbor!
