Dear all,

Just won this piece which for sure needs som work, top right lug, crystal, missing parts in movement etc etc. Also there are some scratches on the dial (from hour hand?). I bought it based on size, 37.5mm (claimed by auction house) and case style. Normally I try to read up before I go for new references, but in this case I found very little so it was a shot from the hip.

So I am curious to know if anyone knows a source to more info? Secondly, would appreciate you Longines experts view if this is a rare reference? Should I spend to get it sorted, fix lug, maybe see if scratches can be reduced, find missing parts to the movement (AS22 I think) etc etc?
Many thanks for advice

Some googling brought me a couple of links to this specific reference so not that rare.

I'd mail Longines and ask them for an extract. For the price you paid there is not much risk imho

Here´s mine. I only can find one more with original dial searching the internet.
I believe this case size is relatively uncommon.
No further info about that reference. Cal 22AS is correct.
