    Having a chance to buy this one. I would like to ask you guys to ensure one thing: if the back does have a gold observatory, and we assume everything is original here, the bezel should be solid gold, right? In this, it should be a solid white gold bezel?

    Otherwise, it looks really immaculate and NOS.

    No, steel cases like this have steel bezels.

    Not necessarily. Some of the early 5-digit Constellation references had gold medallions on steel and gold-capped cases.

    He was asking if the bezel would be gold on a steel case, not the medallion.

    for C-shapes, I think the bezel is definitely solid gold, even if it is white color ...

    For the C-case the coin edge bezel is white gold, the plain bezel is steel, on the steel cased watches.
