    hello,
    Need your help , have a friends speedmaster , she ask me for help , as she lost her bezel .
    As im not the biggest specialist on speedmasters , could you tell me for what kind of vintage
    Bezel i have to look for ?

    pretty sure you are going to need to take the case back off so the case maker can be determined - I think that is required to identify the correct bezel - if ordering via AD/OB they may be able to identify via serial number - but eitherway I think its more complicated beyond just period.

    You have the serial on the back bottom lug. Seems to start a 4828 etc. don't need to open the case just need to see what date that lines up to. Should solve it, right?

    The tritium dial and short Q tail on the caseback almost certainly make it a 3590.50, no? Serial most likely puts it around 1992, so I think this would need dot-next-to-70, a no accent in Tachymetre, and either a medium or wide C, right?

    Or, if your friend is a space fan, suggest rocking it as-is.

    just ask Mr. Schirra what his opinion on speedmaster bezels were...
