BestWatch24.com - Avoid!

Hey All,

Does anybody know about this site? All the watches have extremely low prices, but the site guarantee's they are all genuine and they are an official dealer of all brands they sell. Most of the Omega's are priced at 300 Euro, which seems too good to be true.

If anyone has any info on this site, or can tell if they are legitimate, I would greatly appreciate it. I just went through a hassle of buying what I thought was a quality vintage Omega for $1k, and turned out to be an art project from a smart business man.

Looking forward to your insight, thanks!

If the prices seem to be too good to be true then they probably are .

If Omega officially started selling watches for 300€ they would have to outsouce production to China to maintain demand. Guaranteed bogus. Best to visit an AD in person.

I'm moving this thread to seller reviews, such that the next person searching for this seller on google finds it and reads here before spending their money.

Yeah, they're only selling pure junk (fakes). Nothing worth wasting money on.

I did! Although they have requested that I leave 100% positive review before they refund my money. Thank you for all your help on that one!

Jessica, if you leave a positive review, they no longer have any reason to give your money back.

Correct.... AND they're blackmailing you into lying for them so they can bilk other unsuspecting people.

Contact eBay immediately, lodge a payment dispute with paypal, report his behaviour. Do not comply with that asshole's requests.

I'm not sure where it's stated in Ebay policies, but you definitely can't extort 'positive' feedback. The Paypal dispute would be for an "item significantly not as described", or some similar wording they'll have. Good luck.

Does this site have anything to do with eBay?
No, what happened was she originally bought that skeleton looking converted pocket watch thing off the Ukrainian seller on eBay, then considered this site afterwards, she's talking about that original seller of the converted pocket watches trying to hold her cash until she gives him a good review.

That asshole is really starting to piss me off, selling old pocket watch movements as genuine vintage Omega rarities is just a disgusting practice, and he puts hints to the truth in the fine print, sandwiched between slabs of irrelevant text about Omega's history in his ads. The fact is if he is etching the OMEGA logo into bridges and selling them with that in the title, he's committing fraud by counterfeiting, I'm rather tempted to report all of his items as trademark infringements and request eBay takes his ass down.

Kind of an off-topic thread, though. His franken-watches should have their own seller profile here 😜
