I am going on vacation in Switzerland this winter and i would love to visit some Watch museums! If someone has any recommendations or experiences thanks for sharing! (Btw: i have a special interrest in Omega, Blancpain, Breguet and VC)
In the Bienne region, you can find on 25 kilometer stretch: Longines in Saint-Imier, Omega in Bienne and Fortis in Grenchen... Otherwise Geneva... lots of musea (e.g. Patek Philippe) and the old town with cosy watch shops
Omega Museum in Bienne (duh!) Musée International d'Horlogerie in la Chaux-de-Fond Patek Philippe Museum in Geneva
Go Broncos... there are no shortage of watch museums in Switzerland and it's a beautiful country. My brother in law and his wife (she's from Barcelona) lived there for over a decade in Geneva and my wife and I visited. All I can advise is... check to see if any of the museums require advance reservations, etc. I know Patek Philippe did back in the day, and usually it was backed up a couple of weeks. Things may have changed, but, check, just in case. Have a great trip!
Not strictly wristwatches but I definitely recommend the fabulous Uhrenmuseum! It's in the basement of the Beyer watch store in Zurich.
