I am quite enjoying John Goldberger's Omega Watches. Out of print, but some ebay sellers in italy have remaindered copies at half the RRP. It is just a book of photos, but still very nice. Happy to post more pics if interested

Me too! I can't justify going back and forth to STS to 'pretend' to want a service when I really just want to spend a day reading their reference books..I'm starting to look geeky..you know it's too far when they offer you tea and scones..

I like Goldberger's "Omega Sportswatches". But as you both prefer dressier watches rather than Speedmasters, Seamaster Divers, etc, it probably isn't what you're looking for.

As the original poster asked "" specifically on Omega ""
The well-documented softcover " Omega Speedmaster Apollo Soyuz "the first" " (by forum-member mstanga) is a well-researched publication specifically on this single limited edition Speedmaster offered at the Italian market in May 1976.

There are a few more, if your local bookstore has a good Japanese section they might be able to order them.

This is one of the many on the speedmaster. I can't read Japanese, but i like the pics. I'll see if i can take some pics of the others tonight when i get home.
