Gigantic THANKS to Irina and the fantastic team at San Diego Fashion Valley Omega Boutique. Spent time with my wife and sons and they each got to assemble and disassemble an Omega cal 2201 pocket watch movement and earn Omega Watchmaker Award Certificates. Really a great way to get younger kids enthusiastic about what’s inside our beautiful watches. *Excuse the SoCal dress code*
The Dr Seuss t-shirt and my wife’s red/white dress are a not so subtle accessory to the Speedy Tintin I was wearing.
That is awesome!! The San Diego Omega Boutique is my home away from home . Several of us are in San Diego, hope to see you at the next local Omega GTG !!
Hey, @DesignerV, we need to get the Ladies in the St. Louis boutique to do this. They haven't done squat lately!
Hey, @Mtnmansa! Couldn't get an XL lab coat in the fashion district? (I can kid you as my scale reads 230ish). All in good fun, you have a beautiful family!
Such a great family thing to do - and on another level, I guess it helps secure the care of your watches into the future while passing on an interest in horology to your children
same. I am thinking of itemising an account for their last 30 odd years and giving it to them on Father's day (Sept. here in Aus.) payment due within 30 days -
Yes,count me in for a GTG. I believe I did meet Taddyangle in passing, as it was difficult not to ask about the Skeletonized Speedy.
UncleBuck...a Medium Omega(European sized) lab coat was for ‘promotional purposes’ ONLY! Luckily my fantastic watchmaker made up for the lab coat torture, with a fantastic experience. A lightweight like you.....should not step on the toes of people who have big feet ! For we have big ....shoes My scale now reads ‘error’ after I passed 250 !
Hi @Mtnmansa Very nice way to share your passion with the family and celebrate Father's Day. One of many priceless moments
