So I've decided to gear towards to a nice transitional 16660 for my vintage/modern needs.

I'm wondering if this seller is legit? Brick and Mortar shop etc.

I would like patina on the hands and markers but yet a modern vibe to the whole watch.

Also, I read in another thread regarding a 5513, apparently a piece with WG around the markers can run up to 7k?

Yes the Gruenbergs are legit...not bottom dollar though as you can see.

 

how much would you say; would be an attractive/decent/reasonable buy in price?

 

Wear a sea dweller first. I'm not a fan of the proportions. Also going for a sigma dial i.e. White gold markers is going to kick the price up considerably.

 

Thanks I'll do that. I tried the modern 116600 before. Decided on the 116610 cause it felt flatter. Not quite sure about the 16660 though.

One like this one you listed with cracked pearl/service insert that's not original and replaced serviced hands? Seems like not a full set either I'd gauge around 6-7 thousand but I haven't been looking....btw imo a true transitional is the matte dial triple six sea dwellers...
