With 2016 winding down, let's post the best things that happened on ΩFs this year.

I'll start with my favorite thread title: "Patina, or evidence in a murder case?" by Andy K.

    https://omegaforums.net/threads/patina-or-evidence-in-a-murder-case.44720/

Next, we have the most entertaining thread of the year. Hands down, without a doubt, it was Son of Light's "Seamaster Lost at Sea: The Worst Day".

    https://omegaforums.net/threads/seamaster-lost-at-sea-the-worst-day.45505/

What really sold his whole crock was the set-up threads that were days apart.

    https://omegaforums.net/threads/another-dropped-my-watch-thread.45319/#post-536596

    https://omegaforums.net/threads/lost-stolen-omegas-and-confiscation-questions.45085/

I guess he could be nominated as "Troll of the Year" because that's no ordinary trolling!

So what exceptional threads or members would you want to give some recognition to? It can be for their willingness to help, their sense of humor, or whatever you wish to point them out for something out of the ordinary.

Well, not exactly the thread itself but the link on the saturation divers blew me away. I do a bit of recreation diving but never knew about this.

I met @tpatta at a gtg. I would love to have spent more time hearing about his experience in that industry. Great guy, great collection to boot.

You can't blame the guy for saying something. He has been waiting patiently.

Alpha deserves a mention for offering up watches in return for charity donations, that is a nice gesture. Darlinboy and Kringkily for bringing a little fun with their photo competitions and the mods for making this such a great forum. Funkinator for going to the shop, buying watches and selling them for a discount the next day :)

If we're nominating for the OFfies, I don't think we can overlook @MSNWatch's late entries to the category for "OF member to most likely be a victim of a well-planned heist (by other members)"

    https://omegaforums.net/threads/this-is-what-hoarding-looks-like.49464/

    https://omegaforums.net/threads/inspired-by-the-tdmp-thread-a-mini-pocket-collection.50212/

I'll be in charge of explosives and safety equipment, @ulackfocus could be responsible for logistics (two white vans), power drills and swearing during the heist.

I'll do hazardous entry and IED disposal.
I'm sure the mansion is well protected by numerous booby traps so I'll need a point man (Irish mine detector :D), any volunteers?
Troels can be in charge of blowing the safes, I'll bring a litre of nitro for him.

    BOT.

What about the HUGE dummy spit by "Stiofan", or was that Patrick under another ID?

That was epic interwebs entertainment but he deleted all of his posts so only ΩF Vets can remember the tragedy unfolding.

My thanks @lillatroll  and if I could just add my thanks to the members who did not go for watches but still sent donations, greatly appreciated. Now was that a hijack :D
