Hello Omega Forums. What is, in your opinion, the best wristwatch-movie character combination? My two favorite ones are, obviously, Tony Montana's Omega and De Niro's Sam wearing the Jardur Bezelmeter. The La Magique worn by Tony is exactly what you would expect of him, a limited edition watch encapsulating the excess of the 1980's. The Bezelmeter is a professional's tool, given the company's military heritage, therefore fitting Frank like a glove.
Well... what other movie than "The Omega man" with Charlton Heston!!! Let's play: anybody knows the (gold) watch name and reference used in this movie... ?
"The Silent Enemy" is a truly interesting & great World War II movie, based on facts in the life of Royal Navy Commander Lionel Phillip Buster Crabb Wristwatches can be spotted at 27:20 and 44:44 and 1:38:32 and 1:41:29 in the movie At 1:10:33 & 1:34:07 we see the Italian frogmen wearing a Bourdon wrist depth gauge with radiomir illumination At 1:28:00 exciting as Crabb discovering the hidden hatch on the portside of the Italian tanker Olterra... an exit door for the manned Maiale torpedoes . .
