I pay for the tracked shipping within North America mailed through Canada Post, I don't use FedEx or UPS and International shipping is $25 CAD. If you have any questions please feel free to PM me Here are my first four positive feed backs as well: https://omegaforums.net/threads/great-transactions-with-whatyourwatchsay.72375/ https://omegaforums.net/threads/whatyourwatchsay-awesome-seller.73638/ https://omegaforums.net/threads/whatyourwatchsay-a.77610/ https://omegaforums.net/threads/whatyourwatchsay-amazing-seller.80285/ My blog: http://paulspenscanada.blogspot.ca/ This is the last watch I'm going to be selling for a while; taking a break for personal reasons. A nice vintage Canadian marked watch with an interesting dial. From The Internet Horology Club 185 forum: Bertmar was the house brand name for watches sold by People's (Credit) Jewellers, likely up until the late 1970s or early 1980s. The founder, Frank Gerstein, had two sons in the business. Their names were Bert(rand) and Mar(vin), hence the Bertmar name. People's had stores all across Canada, from Newfoundland to Vancouver Island. So it would nor be possible to narrow it down as to where it was originally sold. When Frank was running the business, it was located primarily in Ontario, with catalog stores in many locations across Canada. http://ihc185.infopop.cc/eve/forums/...2/m/9453949077 Circa 1960s A.Schild 1686 hand wind movement 17 jewels Case number 1013 Explorer style dial Tritium still glows well Original dial, hands, crown and case Dial shows wear Newer acrylic crystal Bidirectional rotating bezel turns well Chromed case is in fair to good condition Steel screw down case back Movement winds sets and runs -5 seconds over 24 hours dial up Case measures 35 mm and has 18 mm lugs Asking $225 CAD shipped within North America (International shipping is $25 CAD) Or Best Offer
Considering where I posted, I guess I should have said "Ranchero Dial" in the title Make an offer and let's get this one sold.
$225 CAD shipped for the three watches I have listed: 1. Bertmar Watersafe 2. Gruen Veri-Thin 3. Buren Grand Prix
Clearly no interest here so these are off to St. Vincent de Paul and hopefully they can make some money from them. Thank you Omega Forum for hosting.
"Speedmaster" works well, too... Sorry for you - unfortunately "no name" brands, no matter their intrinsic qualities, generate about zero interest here. Hint: try TRF next time? In any case, SVdP will be happy to get these from you... probably a much better use of these little gems
