Berthoud Geneve solid gold chronograph. 34.5mm case w/o crown, olive pushers. I assume the case is either 18K or 14K but I'm not familiar with the hallmark, perhaps someone can provide info, closeup included at the end. Fixed lugs somewhere between 17 and 18mm. Comes with the currently fitted 18mm leather strap. Dial is original with some patina as pictured. Berthoud Geneve cal 385 / Universal Geneve cal 285 movement. Keeping good time and chronograph functions working correctly, but service history unknown. Blue stick hands. The tip of the chrono sweep hand is broken and it appears slightly bent? I believe the chrono reset is correct, and that the hand is just bent slightly left, but this cannot be confirmed 100% until the hand is replaced. I had two of these chrono sweeps but sold them recently for $200, so I cannot include in sale. If you are patient you should be able to find something. I don't know a lot about Berthoud Geneve, but I understand it is a sub brand of UG, sold outside of Switzerland. Lovely mid sized gold chrono, beautiful movement, at a price that won't break the bank. $1500 net to me via paypal, plenty of refs here and Ebay. Free shipping CONUS, intl shipping at buyers expense. No returns unless grossly misrepresented. thanks
supposed to be selling this guy but I've been wearing it all weekend. I think because it's not mint, I feel super relaxed wearing and enjoying it, where as all my mint UGs are sitting in their boxes looking amazing and not getting used. Funny how that works....
Hi @auxpomme : Yes I think opening a new thread is the best way. Not uncommon to see a watch coming back here in OF
