Can anyone please tell me which Bergeon tool is appropriate for spring bar changing / strap changing for a Seamaster 2254 & a Moonwatch Pro?

    Many Thanks,
    J

    I owned both Bergeon 6825 and 7825.
Personally I feel the 7825 is of a much better grip, tighter and better handling.

Thanks, I'll look out for one of those. I've got a cheaper tiool but it's not very good.

    No problem. :)
These tools might be a little pricey but in my opinion worth the investment and handle the watch with ease. Protecting the precious watches from scratches in a Long run, especially changing of steel bracelets from time to time.

The Bergeron 6111 or 6767 are much cheaper and IMO much less likely to cause major scratches.

I use the fine 6767 tip for bracelets and the 6111 spatula tip (don't recall the exact part number) for straps.

1.40mm watch screwdriver, far less lethal and works better once you master it.

6767 finepoint ordered. I do like the 7825 but the price is a bit high right now...

Provided that does not result in the spring bar flying across the room into oblivion, then you sir are a genius (or at least the guy in the video is, but even then you still get partial genius credit).

You don’t have to pull as hard as the goose in the video. Been doing it before he was born.
Most of the time the spring bar is still attached to the braid/floss ;)
