    Hello guys!

I’ve ordered a new strap (Hirsch Buffalo) to my Seamaster and are thinking about bent spring bars. The old strap on the picture gets scratched by the case. But I haven’t really seen any vintage Seamaster with bent bars. Would it look off in your opinion? 9A36D3BF-BD20-4DD0-8F06-EBD02B69EDFA.png FA98B16B-5482-406B-B44F-C93C49DEEA7F.png

I would just replace the spring bars, some people even recommend changing them fairly often. Just get some high quality spring bars and you won't have to worry.

My German made Elgin with curved end Admiral band has curved spring bars. They appear to have come with the band and may be gold plated to match. elgin.jpg They seem thick and sturdy.
I tried straight bars with this band and there was just way too much wobbling around that way.

Curved springbars would look great in my opinion.
