Hi guys ive been offered the following bumper for £300. Was wondering if you could tell me if I should go for it. From my amateur observations I think the crown is not original but the dial and hands seem legit. Also i see that the two springs are not matching and there is quite a lot of wear on the edge of the rotor but no corresponding wear on the case back. Should I be concerned? Thanks for your help :)

FWIW it’s a redial. The minute track does not line up with the hour markers. But it’s only 300...

I also have hands of this nature, leaf silvered hands and blue steel seconds hands

I am also a fan of the numerals. The crown is a replacement, but original ones can be found for a reasonable price.

The case may be less marked than the rotor because steel is harder than the copper, you can see some signs of rotor rub on the caseback. This is just a theory and I would wait for someone who is more experienced to weigh in.

Not sure what you mean about the minute track and the markers but if its a redial i will leave it.

If you look at the printing on your example you can see the tips of the hour markers do not line up with the printed minute track which is a sign of it being added later. Left side of the dial is shifted to the left the other side right... Where as the other example posted has perfectly aligned printed inner track with the hour markers.

Well this is the bumper I own. I know the hands are the wrong colour and the crystal is too high but I recon the dial is ok do you think?
