Or does my bum look big in this?

Seamaster Pro 2254 on an Uncle Seiko flat link, which of the 2 options looks best?

All brush for the pure tool look or polished side links for a bit more bling? Option 3 of course would be the original 1610/930 but I don't have that!

Give your answer and show your working out.

Option 4. Black strap with white stitching.
A good point! I'll post a pic of that combo later.

I do like an SMP on a leather strap, indeed I prefer it, but it makes it less suitable for its intended use of course.

Polished and brushed combo. I have end links for both, but my 2254.50 needs service so here's a picture of a modern Seamaster on a Forstner Contemporary and a SM300 on a US 1035. As good as these look, I wouldn't hesitate putting one on my 2354.50. The Seamasters look great on flat-links, but full brushed ones just look weird to me. They're too flat, too slab-like, no contrast.

My vote is for the polished sides, brushed center link bracelet. I have this bracelet. I also have an all brushed flat link. And the standard Peter Blake bracelet. However, I most often wear my SMP on a first gen Aqua Terra bracelet with a current gen Heritage 300 adjustable clasp.

I would go with the polished sides/brushed center because it gives you the look you're going for (Oyster-ish) that is quintessentially Omega. There aren't many other OEM's that do that combination. I also think it adds visual interest to the bracelet and, most importantly, is much more durable than you'd think. Oyster-style bracelets with polished center links look terrible in no time. Scratches, smudges, finger prints. I hate them. But when it's the edge links that are polished they show a lot less wear. But you still get an elevated look.

Now that, ladies and gentlemen, is giving an answer and showing your working. Bravo. I’m not sure I agree with your Oyster comparisons but I do agree that is the combo at present works best for me.

Another vote for the traditional, quintessential Omega flat link with polished exterior links. That fully brushed thing is a complete monstrosity.

I agree and I don't know why. I prefer fully brushed bracelets and my favorite bracelet of all time is the Rolex oyster. But the fully brushed flat link looks off. The flat link with polished edge links looks fine to me. I have no idea what the deal is.

It makes it look too flat, there's no texture to it at all. The polished outer links fill that visual void. Meanwhile the oyster has the texture, as does the flat link on the heritage line.

My take anyway

Neither one! Those bracelets look to flat and square for a curvy and georgeous Seamaster. The links needs some curves too, get the original bracelet, if you have a ton of cash lying around.

Makes sense.

I love the fully brushed first gen AT bracelet. It has curve to the links so it gives the links some visual variety.
