Shhh! Don't tell anyone, but Mido are among the most undervalued vintage watches in the market. This is largely due to the fact that they are typically smaller than what many collectors seek. But for those, like me, who are open to watches in the 30-34mm range, Mido undeniably offers great value given the beauty of their dials, and case quality. So...why am I selling a really nice example? Because I have many others, and I can't wear them all! This is a "Superautomatic" model from the '50s, with a really attractive, original radium dial and hand-set. The unpolished, 32.5mm screw back case is in very good condition, showing just a few light scratches on the back. It is a classic Taubert (often referred to as "Borgel") case, which were top-class cases, used by, among others, Patek Philippe. Note that because this watch houses an automatic movement, it is a bit chunky, which adds nice substance to it while worn on the wrist. The cal. 1017 movement is working, and in very good condition, but as I do not know the last date of service, I would strongly recommend one for regular wear. The box and related material are very uncommon, and in excellent condition. I ask $300 for this nice set, and will ship from my home in Portugal using registered post. EMS express is available for an additional $50. I can accept PayPal or a bank wire. Feel free to ask any questions!
Tony!! Why are you telling people about Mido!!!! It’s supposed to be a secret! I have never seen a full kit- spectacular watch! GLWS
