Reducing the price and making this a charity item. $2500. All of the $2500 goes to charity, 100% of it. I will cover shipping. Paypal gift preferred, but OK with regular paypal too. Every year, I hand out $100 bills to each person on my team, for them to give to a charity or cause. In previous years, scholarships were funded, school supplies purchased, wells built, families fed, and animals rescued. I will share here what the team did with this year's funds in Jan 19. A stunning GP chronograph with a stainless case, sapphire crystal, black dial, and red gold markers and hands. This is a very lovely combo. The dial is a muted gloss black, and the subdials a matte dark grey, that changes tones depending on how the light strikes it. Wonderful details in the very fine dial printing, with a base 1000 tac outer chapter. Love the red 60 in the constant seconds that sets off the red gold hands and arabic markers. Everything works as it should. Quick set date for easy rotation. There are some signs of wear, please see the pics. Comes on an original GP croc strap with a generic butterfly deployment buckle. 38mm case with elongated lugs that wrap comfortably around the wrist. I am not a dealer, and reserve the right to change my mind and keep it
Absolutely lovely example…A GP chrono dial is really something to behold…extraordinary production values GP's also look sensational on a Woman too…Bought my Wife, a 38mm GP 7000....which she adores Very best of luck with the Sale !
A few questions answered: -Not sure of service history, i picked it up used from the original owner. I wore it all of last week, it runs and looks great. Smooth winding, like a fresh JLC. Tempted to keep it : ) -Found the boxes in my watch closet, the cushions inside have sort of broken down though.
Sold and she will be on its way to Australia shortly. Thanks for your support! Will ping back with where the funds went to shortly.
Reporting back on where the funds went to. 45 $100 bills given to my teammates in December. I could not list all the cool stuff they did. Here are a few...$100 to an older lady selling "Real Change" papers outside a grocery store in Seattle. $100 to a random homeless person. Water.com. Projects on Kiva. Random cups of coffee to people in our building. Food bank for furloughed federal employees. Support for a family member with pressing medical bills. Diapers for needy families. Support for the Dr. Doolittle of Berlin. and many more! Most importantly it sparked hope and joy for both the givers and receivers. Thanks so much for supporting this!
Well done Alf. Being generous has its own rewards. I am enjoying the watch immensely, it does not have the status of the rest of my collection but it certainly has the looks. It comes with the added bonus of wearing a piece that has spread some good will in the world , thanks to you. Best H.
