That's a normal 1003. No miniaturization was necessary.

Ugly? I think US 20 coin is nice...... However I agree if they make 360 transparent case like Deville Hour vision, the beautiful movement would be better appreciated. Still I am impressed on how they make a watch case from a coin.

I am mistaken with miniaturization........I think they adjust the size and thickness of the movement, apparently they don't. They just embellished the movement parts with beautiful engraving.

I don't mind it. Not about to rush out and buy it, but an interesting concept.
