Found this poor old 2255.80 while browsing eBay. Auction item # 202373112802 and bid is currently at $900US. Watch has definitely seen better days. Crown tube is stripped, helium escape valve is broken, bracelet broken and also looks like it needs new bezel. Does anyone know if all these repairs come under Omega Standard service.

How are you gonna get the helium back in there though? ::confused2:: Do you think Omega Service centers will be able to put it all back in or will it have to be contracted out to Party City?

I found one on the Bay last year for less than $1400. The seller posted horrible pictures of it so I thought it would be a dog when I got it. I was pleasantly surprised with condition. I believe they will keep going up in value so wouldn’t mind picking up another for the right price.

Bezel would be an added cost, but the HEV, case tube, and crown are all replaced as part of a standard Omega factory service...whether they need it or not...
