    Hey brain trust,

Thinking of adding a beads of rice bracelet to this bad boy (will follow up with a WTB) but trying to narrow down the search. What would have been the option for this in 1956? Bracelet and end links.

And then some closer options if I can’t match the period exactly. Like - a little newer, but would a 1502 with #12 end links work?

    THANK YOU!

    Hi,
as far as I know 1036 with 11 end links would be classic line up...

    I believe that #11 endlinks would fit, as would #511 endlinks. The bracelets I have seen on #11 endlinks are 1036, 1037, 1503, 8220, 8270, .

However, from my research I think that #12 endlinks would be more likely to be period correct. I have seen #11s more on early-mid 60s, and #12s more on 50s watches. The bracelets I have seen on #12 endlinks have been 1036, 1037, 1503, 8220 and 8270.

Can I also ask the reference of your watch?

Thanks for the info! And yes, it's a ref. 2848 cal. 491 from circa 1955/1956. LOVE it on the current strap, paired with an awesome period correct buckle, but have seen a few on their bracelets and it's got me thinking...

Have a line on a 1502 with 12 end links right now. Potentially.
