He definitely had a Speedy on most of the time & it was on a vintage style bracelet. It looked like an 1171 or 1450 bracelet to me, but the watch itself didn't look patina'd especially on the lume so it was hard to tell if it was really a vintage head or not. Did you get a screenshot of the White faced watch he had in some of the interviews ? I couldn't see it well enough to work out what it might be.
Just saw a thread on another forum where they got some screenshots. The Speedy was a pre-professional, so my guesses at the bracelet were probably wrong. The white faced item is being speculated to be a Breitling.
Nice work! I was chatting to Richard Hammond the other day in my local motorbike shop, he lives down the road from me. If I see him again I'll ask about his speedie! I've seen James May wearing a vintage Omega Seamaster 'albatross' on telly before too.
