BB 58 Blue or BB GMT??

I’m debating between getting one of these 2 watches from my AD. I’m trying to replace the blue bezel BB that was stolen from me a couple months ago. I had a love/hate relationship with that particular watch. I really liked the way it fitted and general looks, but there was something about it that I kinda hated.
I’m no big guy by any means, but I feel the 58 might be a little small for me @39mm and can’t really try it before I buy it since it’s out of stock and if I want one my AD told me he needs to source one for me and I need to put down a deposit.
On the other hand, the GMT is IN STOCK and I can walk out the store wearing it tomorrow. I like the general look and feel of it, but the hype on the blue 58 makes me want to give it a try.
To give you an idea of what I usually wear I’ll list down the watches I wear the most so you guys can give me better advice.
Omega GSOTM
Omega Speedmaster ‘57 white dial
Blue Omega PO 46mm
Bronze Zenith CP-2
Black dial Zenith Captain

I've owned a BB58 (6.5" wrist) and found it was kind of perfect, size-wise. I finally got to see a BB GMT last week, and was a bit shocked at how thick and blocky it looked. I actually declined even trying it on, the side profile was just a bit too much for me.

Have you seen the GMT in person?

I have both. On my 6.5" wrist both fit fine. The BB GMT is a lot thicker and chunkier when you first put it on but after a while you get used to it. Plus I find the GMT functionality very useful. The big advantage for me of the BB58 is that I can share it with my wife who loves it also. Thus I got to buy a watch and not have it count against me. If I could only choose one, I would get the BB58.

I have both and as stated above, the GMT is thicker and chunkier than the BB58. The BB58 feels more like a 5-digit Sub. If I had to choose one, it would be the GMT, but that's because I have a few divers, including the Sub, but just the one GMT.

I’ve seen it 2-3 times and find it almost identical as the 41mm standard black bay.

I have the BB58 in blue and find it a great fit on my 7.25” wrist , I wanted the GMT for a while and really like the look of it . And tried one on several times & wanted to really like it ,but thought it was too thick for my taste .

I have BB58 and Pelagos and they wear both very well on my 17cm wrist. lug2lug on 58 is 47mm with d 39mm and on Pelagos l2l 49mm with d 42mm bezel and 41 housing (so similar as GMT), however there is a difference in height 12mm vs. 14mm (GMT is if I'm not wrong 15mm).

I’ve had both. The blue 58 remains. The gmt is nice, but a bit thick and heavy on the bracelet. 58 for me but you should try them on if you can. The 58 wears like a 5 digit sun which is why I like it.

Choose based on what function you want. The GMT is thick but still comfortable on a 6.5 inch wrist.
