Longines, Tudor, Oris are all stepping up their game in the US$3K-6K range...and now look at what Baume et Mercier just put today at US$2790.00...

Has this watch set a new benchmark in terms of value proposition?

The fonts look really thick. Sharpie thick. I know it’s a new watch but it reminds me of a lot of redials we’ve seen

way too much script on the dial.

half of that could have been put on the caseback (and it probably already is).

the 05/10/15 etch could stand to be lost

and gold furniture along with a painted dial surface would set it off nicely.

I’m fond of the brand as it was one of my fathers favorites. I do agree that is could have a little less text on the dial but would like to see it in person

the Clifton 1830 looks a much nicer proposition.
