Hello , I would like to remove the metal strap that holds the battery on this old 1960s Bulova Accutron. this strap does not have a screw and I am not familiar with how to correctly remove it. I assume that I pull out on the side piece tabs but I am not sure - and I do not want to damage the strap. I would appreciate some guidance on this. Below are a few pics .
You’ll have to flex one end of the cell bridle outwards, away from the cell, then lift that end. The bridle will then come out.
