Rolex seems to have hit a homerun with the new Ex1 and the white ss Daytona

Breitling is just being silly with a 50mm hockey-puck with a previously unheard waterproof-rating of ...

    ... 100m

what tickled your fancy or made you mad?

Agreed on the E1 and the Daytona. I like the blue panda speedy. The new AirKing is not bad either.

Still need time to look into other brands. Overall I am surprised Rolex dos better than Pmega this year.

I wouldnt buy it.. but the attention to detail is beyond... Dubuis watches always amaze even though you don't like em.. :)

The black bezel Daytonas are a huge improvement.

The new Tudor Black Bay models are nice as well. The bronze one is interesting (in a good way), but the 36 mm one is particularly tasteful in contrast to a lot of newer designs.

As majority of WIS i like new Daytona a lot. Also the Exp I is really cool. They improved the things that were bugging me at that watch. I only like one Omega from Basel 2016: Blue LE "FOIS"

Dumping the silver rings on the white Daytona was a great move as its a much easier watch to read now, keeping them on the black Daytona is not so smart, but at least the white one will be good.

The Explorer 1 is nice, but its sort of like "Yea we're sorry we screwed that watch up the first time we refreshed it by giving it the silly hands, we put proper ones on this time".

Yet they didn't choose to give it the new updated movement started in the Day-Date 40 last year, so presumably this Exp1 will be replaced again when the movement filters through to it in a few years.

That new white Daytona is just badass IMO.

The Daytona is MUCH better with a black bezel, and the white dial may actually cross the line into acceptably readable - will reserve judgement for a live view.

The Basel 2016 Explorer 1 has no new movement but is at least now officially regulated to -2/+2..all I can see the new movement offering is a 70h power reserve and perhaps a slightly longer service interval? I know the Explorer 1 is not a groundbreaking release...but correcting the hands and using the lumed numbering...admitting that they (Rolex) were wrong based on client feedback is an agile reactive maketing capacity I did not expect from the Crown. Cheers

I'm mostly interested in seeing the in-house Tudor Black Bay line expansion. The Bronze is 43mm which spooked me, but that "Dark" one or whatever is 41.
What I'd really like to see would be an in-house 41mm Black Bay Blue, with an "Explorer" dial like the bronze.

The new Explorer is cool, and so is the black bezel Daytona, but I wish they used all black sub dials. Tudor put out some interesting watches, and the Heuer Manza looks great. The Omega offerings were a disappointment to me.

+1 on black subdials. Bring the panda back.
