This is the coolest watch Omega has made since they started using the coaxial escapement. It has the night sky on the dial and a gold moon. It's automatic unlike the DSOTM Apollo 8. It has a proper chronograph movement, from this century, unlike the DSOTM Apollo 8. Why isn't anybody talking about it?

My question is what he meant by, "the blue side of the moon" at 3:33 in the video... possible leak for BW '19?

 

I love the dial but that blue case is pretty blue.

 

Blue Side of the Moon is the name of the watch in the video. There's another version without the aventurine dial that's been available for a while.

I get it, I also several different sets of China. I have a green tea set, a white all purpose set and a number of cups I have gathered through traveling. I even have an “I live NY coffee mug”

So I get it.


And before anyone starts screaming at me. Lighten up will you, I’m not the one that made a blue ceramic watch.

 

A good watch goes great with good china.

I wonder when it will start showing up. I already have the GSOTM Meteorite, but from the photos, that blue ceramic and aventurine dial are calling to me.

 

Blue ceramic... I’ll settle for this. That colour on the Speedy is aweful

I like most blues. I'm looking forward to seeing it in the flesh.

 

I've tried on the Seamaster Big Blue, it's actually quite an attractive material. Interested to see these in person sometime. But I don't think I could actually wear it...

That is an excerpt from article of RJ dedicated to new version of CK2998. Full platinum in three versions? Anybody aware of that?

 

Interesting. Omega is doing some cool, creative things this year.

However, this watch seems a little too feminine IMO for my tastes.
